General Intensive Courses

The General Intensive Chinese Program is our signature program available at all 5 levels, with each level divided into subgroups to make sure you're placed exactly where you should be. You can begin on any Monday all year round for non-beginners. The beginner starting dates are every 4 weeks. Class size is always limited to 10 students, with an average of 5. The minimum duration is 2 weeks.

Mandarin House offers 3 different types of General Intensive Chinese Courses:
- Intensive Course 20
- Combined Course 20+5
- Super-Combined 20+10


Professional Chinese Courses

Mandarin House Innovation Chinese Language Program: available at all levels. You will learn about business topics in the Chinese context, exposed to an overview of China's changing environment and current business practices.


Executive Individual Course
The most personalized and effective method for significant progress. A professional private teacher focuses exclusively on your language needs and interests. The class schedule can be arranged from 1 lesson to 40 lessons each week.


Professional Combined 30
20 group lessons in the mornings plus 10 executive private lessons in the afternoons each week; Executive private lessons are designed for clients who have special requirements with tailor-made materials.


Summer Camp for juniors

Scholars, experienced teachers, language learners and even common sense will tell you that when it comes to learning languages, the younger the better. Mandarin House offers summer programs for juniors from 7 to 17 years old. These are located in the city center of Shanghai or Beijing. These cities enjoy a safe reputation and offer comfortable living conditions.
Students come from different countries, this, in turn, creates a uniquely diverse environment for developing language and interpersonal skills. Students take 20 language lessons per week and they will participate in many activities such as traditional handcrafts, sports, games, competitions, parties and excursions to local sites of historic and cultural interest.

Mandarin House can arrange living accommodation to optimize your experience in China. We understand that the quality of your accommodation will play an integral part in your study abroad experience. We accordingly take special care to make sure that each and every one of our accommodation options will make you feel comfortable, cozy, safe and "at home". One of our staff members personally visits each accommodation and carefully judges the quality of the site through a strict approval process. Through years of experience in choosing accommodations, our guidelines and procedures have proven to be highly effective.

SINGLE ROOM SHARED APARTMENT
You will have your own bedroom and this option allows you to live with other international students in a pleasant atmosphere. The apartments are simple, but are furnished and equipped.

PRIVATE STUDIO APARTMENT
This option gives you a clean, private and comfortable living experience.

HOST FAMILY IN CHINA
Living with a Chinese host family is a very good way to acquire a profound understanding of Chinese culture and traditions. This option will be special arranged upon request.

HOTEL & SERVICED APARTMENT
We will be more than happy to suggest and/or book hotels or serviced apartments for you according to your needs and preferences.

AIRPORT TRANSFER
A Mandarin House employee can pick you up at the airport or the railway station and deliver you to our school or to your accommodation.
