Charming Tropical Beach Hideaway

The Green Parrot Beach Houses is a small (8 cabanas) charming tropical beach front resort located in southern Belize. Each of the resorts' cabanas is a separate unit, with private bath and hot water.
All units are within just a few feet of the water.

In addition to accommodations, the Green Parrot has its own restaurant, bar, library, and gift shop. The restaurant is open air and overlooks the Caribbean. Meals change daily according to what is fresh and in season. The bar serves some great cold Belikin beer on draft and fantastic rum drinks. Check out the resort library for a book to take to the hammock on your deck or a beach chair.

If you need some gifts to take home or small personal items, check out the Green Parrot Gift Shop. Make sure you get a Green Parrot t-shirt to remember your stay.

Resort staff and manager are all local residents. Leo the manager is from Honduras and Rueben the bartender is a native Mayan. These guys know the area and will help you in planning your daily activities. They will set you up with just the right tour guide to meet your own interest. We have tours to Monkey River, snorkeling, diving, fishing, sailing, horseback riding, Mayan ruins, tours to Red Bank for bird watching, Jaguar Preserve, Marie Sharps hot sauce factory, banana plantations --you just need to decide what fits your interests.

This is a great location for honeymoons and anniversaries.
We get a lot of visitors from the US, Canada and the UK.
