Creation of Stained Glass and Mosaics
Located in the medieval city of Siena, Italy, Vetrate Artistiche Toscane (VAT) represents the continuing tradition of the production of stained glass that first began there in the 12th century.The activity of Vetrate Artistiche Toscane is oriented to the creation of stained glass and mosaics, both for religious and architectural purposes, and the technique of fusing.
We run courses that are experiential and "hands on", held by experienced teachers that will help spare you from committing the time. The theory of each workshop is followed by practical exercises in the construction of a small project, which remains the property of the student.
We can even run short studio tours to share with you the history of glass in Siena.
